Within the continental United States:
* Navy Region Northwest ((CNRNW )) - Includes installations in 11 states: Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa. Headquartered at Naval Base Kitsap in Silverdale, Washington.
* Navy Region Southwest ((CNRSW )) - Includes installations in 6 states: California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico. Headquartered in San Diego, California.
* Navy Region Southeast ((CNRSE )) - Includes installations in 12 states: Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.
* Navy Region Mid-Atlantic ((CNRMA )) - Includes installations in 20 states: Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine. Headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia.
* Naval District Washington ((NDW )) - Includes installations in Washington, D.C. and parts of Virginia and Maryland. Headquartered in Washington, D.C.
Outside the continental United States:
* Navy Region Hawaii ((CNRH )) - Headquartered in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
* Navy Region Japan ((CNRJ )) - Includes installations in Japan and the Indian Ocean.
* Navy Region Korea ((CNRK )) - Includes installations in South Korea.
* Navy Region Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia ((CNREURAFSWA )) - Includes installations in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
* Singapore Area Coordinator ((SAC )) - Includes installations in Singapore.
* Joint Region Marianas ((JRM )) - Includes installations in the Northern Mariana Islands and Guam. Headquartered in Guam.
Disestablished navy regions:
* Navy Region Midwest ((CNRMW )) - Disestablished as of September 30, 2014.〔https://www.cnic.navy.mil/regions/cnrmw.html, retrieved 2014-09-15.〕 Formerly included installations in 16 states; these are now split between the Northwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions. Formerly headquartered in Great Lakes, Illinois.
